The Flin Flon Mining District in Manitoba has a long history of exploration and discovery, and has been host to several mines throughout the course of its mining history. As one of the world’s most prolific mining regions, many base and precious metals discoveries have been made within the Flin Flon Greenstone Belt. Callinex Mines’ exploration activities in the Flin Flon area are just some of the many ways the Company continues to enhance shareholder value.
50% of deposits advanced to production
$1.6 Billion invested into mine development – water, roads, rail and power in place

Within this prolific Greenstone Belt, Callinex is currently focused on its Pine Bay, Big Island and Flin Flon Projects. For those looking to invest in penny stock companies, the Company’s projects in the Greenstone Belt are worthy of a closer look.
Located just 16 Km to the HudBay processing facilities, the Pine Bay Project has fast-track potential and mining permits are in place. At the Pine Bay deposit, one of 4 previously outlined on the property, there is a vertical shaft and significant underground workings. Callinex has performed over 10,000 m of drilling and identified 2 new discoveries since 2014. Other highlights include results indicating the potential for a high-grade deposit that includes zinc, gold and silver.
Discovered in 1987, Callinex is looking to expand the high-grade, historic zinc-gold resource that exists at the Big Island Project. Although the site has not been drilled since 1991, it contains the Tara Lake Deposit, where previous drill results show 7.4m of 35% Zn Eq. Located just 10 Km east of Flin Flon, MB, the area is thought to contain a rock package similar to that which is found at Callinan, Flin Flon and 777 Mines, where 100 million tonnes of ore have been collectively produced.
Just 5 Km on the highway from the Flin Flon concentrator and 3 Km from the HudBay 777 mine, the Flin Flon Project is a 2,455 ha property in which Callinex has total ownership (subject to 2% NSR). An airborne survey performed in 2012 revealed several potential geophysical targets, and the geological strata is similar to that which is found at the main mine horizon, which is host to the 777 mine. A subsequent EM and MAG airborne survey in 2014 helped identify an additional 14 targets.
When researching which penny stocks to buy, the Company’s technical team and, specifically, their previous achievements and experience in particular jurisdictions should be considered. The Callinex technical team brings decades of experience and includes notable discoveries in the Flin Flon mining region.
